Wane is virtually steeped in music! His wealth of musical experience is exceeded only by his versatility and talent. Wane’s roots began early when he learned to play both guitar and bass as a young teen, and he was sought after even then as a bassist for local bands. After some formal training, Wane was ready to dive into his successful career as bassist in numerous popular and long-lived bands touring the Southeast, particularly as house band for upscale resorts in Hilton Head, Miami and more, and as a traveling act on the lounge and dance circuits.

Wane has shared the stage with quite a few renowned entertainers, performing with Michael Twitty, Minnie Pearl, and Archie Campbell, and has opened for the likes of Foghat, Room Full of Blues and others.

Wane’s single greatest talent is his ability to play any and all styles of music and to tap from his knowledge of all musical genre, which results in the melodic richness and the variety of rhythmic styles he adds to the Ocean Breeze sound.
