Jeff Maxwell is truly a world-class musician!  Jeff began his career as a professional musician in 1981, and has since played quite an array of musical styles, productions and venues, such as concert orchestras, marching bands, ceremonial ensembles, brass quintets, swing jazz bands and rock groups.

Jeff has performed with such legendary artists as Chuck Mangione and Lee Greenwood.  As a part of an eighteen-piece show band, Jeff performed in a tour that spanned five years and two continents, traversing the expanses of both South America and West Africa.  More recently, Jeff played in the Memphis R & B group, the Distraxshuns, and his own Charlotte-based brass quintet, the Queen City Five.  As recently as this summer, Jeff played with the Charlotte Jazz Orchestra, opening for the Charlotte Symphony.

Jeff's contribution to Ocean Breeze, as the solid bottom of its brass section, is as weighty as the credentials he carries to the band.
